Special Lumps

There are several unique lumps that can be used in Doom64 EX.

Text-Scripting Lumps

Lump Name Description
MAPINFO Defines map settings, what music to play, intermission texts, etc
SKYDEFS Defines sky data, how it's rendered, etc
ANIMDEFS Defines animating textures

Markers

All markers are named with a prefix, followed by a _START for beginning of the marker and _END for the end of the marker.

Marker Prefix Description
T Markers for texture data. All texture lumps must be in between these markers
G Markers for generic textures. Usually for on-screen graphics and textures used in skies. All generic texture lumps must be in between these markers
S Markers for sprites. All sprite lumps must be in between these markers
DS Markers for MIDI data. All MIDI lumps must be in between these markers

Binary Lumps

Lump Name Description
CHECKSUM Contains a MD5 hash of the IWAD generated by Wadgen.
