6-30-09 - Issues with multi-core processors

There is a current bug with the SDL library that causes Doom64 EX on computers with multi-core processors to be unstable. To resolve this issue, you must set the i_affinitymask cvar to 1. You can set this either in console by typing ~ to bring up the console and type i_affinitymask 1. You can also change set this through the config file.

Doom64 EX 1.4 has been reuploaded with numerous savegame and menu fixes as well as the fix for machines with multi-core processors.


6-24-09 - Doom64EX 1.4 released

First official release of Doom64EX is online. The binaries for windows can be found here.
Source packages (zip, tar etc) is currently being worked on as well as editing docs. Don't forget to email me if there's any questions or concerns. Enjoy!


10-09-08 - New Doom64EX SVN branch

D64EX has been ported over to OpenGL/SDL and setup a new branch on the SVN which can be located here. I am currently seeking volunteers who has a linux machine to assist me in getting D64EX to compile and run on *Unix operating systems.

Still no official build yet, but I do hope to get one out in the future.


5-15-08 - Doom64EX Site Online

Many thanks to SourceForge for hosting this project. Its a little bare at the moment as I am still working on documentation and final code clean up since a good portion of the rendering code is a complete mess and lacking comments. No official download is announced yet, but feel free to take a peek at the CVS repository and screenshots page once they become available.
